A Human City
[Texte disponible uniquement en anglais] The project titled "A Human City" focuses on the area of Kings Cross in central London, the largest and most successful urban redevelopment project in the UK over the last decade. The documentation of the cityscape is reimagined as a site-specific video installation that seeks to illustrate the coherence and interconnectedness of urban life and landscape as part of the urbanization process. Through a combination of pictorial representation and real perception of the space, it creates a third space that highlights the convergence of landscape and lifestyle in post-metropolis cities.

The installation uses a cinematographic technique that involves capturing a subjective point-of-view shot frame by frame while walking in the Kings Cross area. The camera serves as the observer's eye, depicting the surroundings as a cognitive map. The installation aims to create a metaphysical reality, providing an immersive experience that transcends the physical reality of the Kings Cross area in London. Through the use of cinematographic techniques and the convergence of landscape and lifestyle, it creates a new, subjective reality for the viewer.
