Human by Ecem Dilan Köse with TKO Sonar 2021

[Texte disponible uniquement en anglais] In this performance, Ecem Dilan Köse tries to answer the ultimate question; what is human? In this performance she visualizes "human"'s journey through nature with the help of digitalization, and she "built" this performance around the following concepts;
Essences that we lack,
Essences that we gain,
Extinction,
Crossing kingdoms,
Decellularized,
Translucent life,
Living Creatures,
IdentityTransformation,
Transhuman,
Organic,
Digitalism,
Unity.

This audiovisual live performance, "Human" explores the present and the future. It describes this research through texture production methods.
*One of them is based on the animation of marbling textures produced using the traditional method using generative production methods. It refers to the present and the purely organic world, the flesh and bone where we have the laws of physics.
*The other is textures produced entirely by code using Processing. These tissues are like cells of the digital world. Each one is unique and randomly generated. Production limits have forms associated with nature. These similarities question the story of transformation and our orientations in change. Transformation arises as if it were to create another living thing (perhaps a digital entity).
