SYNTHETIC

This project aims to highlight two different aspects of our daily communication: sound and picture.
Through the audiovisual research, I analyzed the contemporary digital dialog between human beings and nature.
Then, with the process of 'stylisation' I searched for those signs that could synthetically translate the surrounding sounds, linking them to a symbolic expression which with the use of space, can narrate the contemporary vision of the world.
Sounds, becoming signs, translate themselves in A/V synestheic dialog and finally find a strict connection with the modern digital vision.

In the conflict between natural and synthetic sound, the project uses acoustics linked to plastic and rocky materials that develop in different soundtracks, creating links with the narrating trend. In this way, the impulsive elements interact feeding a dinamic and continuos evolution.

The set unfold in a heightened visual field, that take the spectator to a full immersion in the work.
In our mind will remain the idea of how the surrounding landscapes can communicate through the digital language and how this one is integrated in our everyday life.
