[Texte disponible uniquement en anglais] In Cri Animal the reflection on imaginary rituals and traditions of the Indigenous Peoples of Costa dei Trabocchi (Abruzzo coastal strip characterized by small coves and fascinating maritime buildings) leaves emerge a sound universe in which the colors and the musical influences of tropical psychedelia, the sounds of the Balinese gamelan, the south Indian raga, the Amazonian and African rhythms blend with the natural attidudine impro-rock, electroacoustic, experimental and psychedelic music.
Cri Animal is the new musical project of Nico Mangifesta (Sonic Death Wave, Temple Impro Unit), musicologist and musician devoted both to ethnomusicological research that the practice of improvised music, accompanied by projections of psychedelic kaleidoscopic mandala performed by Bioska.
