[Texte disponible uniquement en anglais] Mumbai is not just the metropolis of India but is now a global city amongst London, New York, Tokyo, Paris etc. But what happens when you Google for images of Mumbai? You will only see landmarks and monuments that are pre-independence era structures made while the British were still ruling us until 1947. So though Mumbai has grown in stature globally, economically and politically, the city really has no artistic motif that is globally recognizable.

The Mumbai Landmark Project is a visionary project to create 12 modern-day monuments or technological marvels that become symbols of the city that are locally loved and globally recognized (over the years).

We have seen the use of projection mapping in temporary situations or as performances but how can we leverage the practise to create live and interactive, permanent modern day monuments?
