[Texte disponible uniquement en anglais] Rainmaking is an audiovisual performance that investigates contemporary responses to climate change through the lens of ritual, ecological consciousness, and computational media. Drawing inspiration from traditional rainmaking ceremonies and the musical styles like botanica, tribal and alternative ambient electronic music, the work recontextualizes ancestral forms of environmental engagement within a live digital performance. Performed live using TouchDesigner, Bitwig Studio, MIDI controllers and instruments, the piece combines generative visuals with immersive soundscapes. By merging ritual and technology, Rainmaking invites audiences to contemplate humanity's role within the natural world and the shared responsibility for environmental sustainability and restoration. 20 min.
