He merges sound art and performance art through science and technology. He creates performances, concerts and installations using and abusing human bodies, sound, infrasound, light, algorithms, body sensors and loudspeakers. His works rely on the material force of sound to produce intensely intimate encounters of bodies and machines, and vivid sensory and physical experiences. His creative process is a continuous feedback between artistic intuition, scientific experiments and development of custom technologies.

His latest performance, CORPUS NIL, creates a tense choreographic interchange between a performer and an autonomous machine using human bioelectrical and bioacoustic signals. 0-INFINITY is a monumental architecture of infrasound vibrations, audible sounds and high-powered lights morphing in response to biosignals and movement data from the visitors’ bodies. In OMINOUS and MUSIC FOR FLESH II he plays interactive music by amplifying sounds from his body. His installation NIGREDO induces visitors in altered states of self-perception by feeding sounds from their bodies back to their skulls and bones. The sculptural object SEPTIC physicalises digital viruses in the body. His action HYPO CHRYSOS immerses audiences in multichannel sound and video produced by the strain of his muscles while he pulled 50kg stones.

Regularly touring worldwide, he performed and spoke in over 50 countries across North and South America, Asia, Australia and Europe. His works are presented at leading art and music events (Sónar+D, ISEA, Venice Biennale, Steirischer Herbst), electronic art, sound art and performance art festivals (Sound Art China, transmediale, CTM, FILE, Panorama), research institutions (Stanford CCRMA, New York University, STEIM, IRCAM), historical music venues (Experimental Intermedia, Spectrum NYC, Café Oto, Mumuth Concert Hall, de Singel) and national museums (Museo Reina Sofia, CCCB Barcelona, Kunsthaus Graz).
