It can be either a trick of aesthetics to draw a sentimental audience thru nostalgia and desire, a technical demo, a critique of media and culture, or a thoughtful use of contemporary materials at hand. In this case, it is a VJ set using live Twitter feeds to mix text as visuals with video game imagery.
