Milkymist One, a video synthesizer at the forefront of open source hardware
[Texte disponible uniquement en anglais] The Milkymist One is a comprehensive open source hardware and software tool for the live synthesis of interactive visual effects for video performance artists.

It's easy to create an entertaining video installation with the Milkymist One. Connect a camera and a videoprojector, press the power button,

and a dozen seconds later, everything you film becomes live psychedelic effects of color and light. Point the camera at a dancer on stage, at people attending your party, at toys, use UV-glow paint... there are no limits to creativity!

VJ's will appreciate the possibility to design new visual effects using the Flickernoise Patching (FNP) language, which allows you to create unique and personal shows without requiring extensive experience with

computer programming. And if you do program computers, you will certainly like the fact that the complete Milkymist One design is open source.

Ce qui est necessaire

All I need is a videoprojector, for me to present some slides and demonstrate the Milkymist One's output.

For a better demonstration, the room should be dark and I should have access to a black background with front lighting (so I can film me or someone else with a good contrast against the background).
