[Texte disponible uniquement en anglais] In Colombia, a country where expression has dire consequences, especially in rural areas, advocating for community rights and defending human dignity is seen as a subversive act instead of being accepted as a noble way of seeking equity for others and the environment, social leaders have been silenced by taking away their lives.

This is a tribute to all these souls who decided to defend the rights of their communities or the environment, but they will find themselves facing the violence, indifference, censorship, and oblivion of a government that has not been able to take responsibility, nor create changes in the respect. Colombia is the country with the highest rate of murders of environmental and social leaders in the world.
