AT THE MOMENT Adela Muntean is making her long-term INTERMEDIA PROJECT entitled TRANS-CINEMA-EXPRESS devoted to the changing role of the moving image and classical cinema in the digital age.

Her work involves research upon architecture, archive and the tactile medium of the celluloid.

ABOUT THE A/V PERFORMANCE:

TECHNOLOGY is represented on the city’s urban plan:
THE EXPERIMENTAL ARCHITECTURE FILM presented as a PERFORMANCE will display spatial juxtapositions of different Cinema buildings in experimental sequences:
.
FOOTAGE SHOT BY the artist but also CINEMA IN MOVIES; HARD CINEMAS;
DIGITAL: GOOGLE STREET VIEW+ 8 BIT CINEMA; ETC.,
all fused together to form an elaborate deconstruction of the spatial approach of the buildings which hosted for years the screenings which modeled our perception of the moving image.

THE FINAL WORK WILL BE EXPOSED in a VIDEO INSTALLATION
where the main purpose is not only to show the spatial juxtapositions of different Cinema buildings in experimental sequence
but
also to create sense of space through which the viewer can walk.
