BIOGRAPHY:
Since 2001, Eliazar Sanchez has been playing with various techniques of video using digital errors, spontaneous reproductions and images in real time - drawing from a large urban influence to create a gig experience like no other. Noba was a member of the (now defunct) production Haiku (Defaulmachine), who curated a series of events in 2003; working with the likes of Magda, Miss dinky, Farben, No2, Signal Deluxe, Showcase Static Discos- the collective also participated in festivals like MUTEK, LPM, INTERFACE and FLYING CIRCUS.
Since 2006, Eliazar began producing audio to complement his video work, exploring ways to compliment his awesome visuals with a sound that reflects the progressive nature of his work. His projects can be described as a touch experimental - with minimal sound manipulation which results in audiences understanding and deciphering the messages conveyed, something that has ensured Noba stays in demand globally.
